Free golf would be great but none of the men and women that work as ambassadors here receive free golf. They are all given 50% off the golf rates at the championship courses. Plus a few more discounts at other places.
I know several of them and they all enjoy their jobs very much. What more would someone want in life if they love the game. They get to spend 2-3 days a week riding around in a golf cart on beautiful courses making sure everyone is relatively happy. They occasionally run into someone who does not appreciate the position the ambassadors are in (when they are asked to move it along a little faster)....but other than that (at least from what I am told) it is a dream job.
The exact quote I got when I asked how they liked their jobs was "I have worked my whole life to find this job. I am the happiest person in the world! I work a few days to make enough money to play golf daily throughout the rest of the week...and a little money left over. Life could not be better."
