Agree, that’s why I didn’t by new one. Even my 2012 1/2 village special listed for $13,995.00. I paid little less than half 6 years ago. Basic golf cart I guessing around 7 to 8 grand. Now add the extra’s (village ready) like lights, bigger tire wheels, enclosure, plush seats, speedometer, basket, custom paint. All that adds up from 8 grand to 14 grand or more now? You can get cheaper villages ready cart off campus, but the extra’s may not be as plush.

My cart still runs like new with around 14K miles. I expect it to outlast me.
