I know it's actually a serious issue, "supply chain" problems. It's happening in every facet of commerce. For the past few months in many states there's been a shortage of bottled water, not because water is scarce but rather the bottles themselves due to "Covid issues". I don't know if that means exactly.
My daughter's in-laws ordered a motor boat months ago hoping they'd have it to use this summer but no dice. And they had no ETA either. Likewise, my sister ordered a fountain for her patio and they said it would be there in six weeks. Well, it more like nine and counting. Forget about getting anything repaired or getting contractors to do work for you and if they do, their prices are outrageous because they know they have you over a barrel. Some of this is legit but it's also people taking advantage of "Covid" as an excuse to raise prices and ditch their previous customer service standards and practices.
