There are many bad drivers throughout The Villages who drive both regular vehicles and golf carts that should not be on our shared roadways. If we all are so concerned about driving safely, then actual mandated driving test should be state mandated to those of us over a certain age limit or those of us deemed unfit to drive by their physician or close family member.
Unfortunately as we all get older, our driving skills begin to deteriorate and there are many older Villagers who should not be driving and I'd rather be driving next to a competent speeding driver than next to someone who can barely breath and see!

You are 63. I read your other posts. One day you WILL be an 81 year old woman, like me. (Who does not drive because she had a heart episode that scared the misplaced eyebrows off her) No one said I couldn't.
My husband is still an excellent driver at 80.
Our car is not a beat up Chevy with bald tires. It is kept in excellent repair. My husband trims ALL of the bushes and trees around our lot and replaces sprinkler heads. I am so grateful for his good health.
I want you to tell me how you feel about driving in twelve years.
