Sorry to hear this. No, they are not the same. They are both mRNA vaccines but seems Moderna is coming out ahead of Pfizer with real life efficiency of the vaccine.

Your mishap is the reason why I verified with the person giving me my second shot that the vaccine was Moderna , BEFORE my injection was administered to me. I will verify again when I get my third shot and make sure it is Moderna before the injection is given to me.
