Default Santa, Tooth Fairy, and others from one's childhood
I found out that there was no Santa Clause in a department store in late November/ early December while my parents were toy shopping for us kids. I had to be about 11.
They had a cart full of toys on a line to check out. I asked my mom why their were buying toys when Santa would bring them. She replied " I am Santa Clause and Tooth Fairy"
Yup-- I stil remember the crushing news
