The original response was to the OP asking if there were any young men in the neighborhood that wanted to earn a few bucks. One poster said, you know this is a retirement community, we don't have young men hanging around the neighborhood.

Of course I wouldn't call community watch on my neighbors, because they're NOT strangers. It's called common sense.

I guess playing dumb is a good way of proving your point. I've been educated enough with life that I don't need to know what belongs and what doesn't. That guy in his 40s standing in your street looking at a package on your neighbor's porch, he's OK, he's probably just a walker.
