One word of warning: Make sure you understand your liability exposure when you rent. A few years ago I was looking to rent and discovered that the owners of the carts have you sign a release that releases them from any liability should you be involved in an accident, and my homeowner's and auto policies, and my liability umbrella did not cover me either.
In other words, I would be operating the cart with no liability insurance whatsoever.
