A number of residents will not use this great communication instrument because as they say there are a set of "bullies" who pride themselves in their actions to make fun of the users . You know who they are! They are the ones who keep watch on the material in TOTV and strike at users to discredit them and their questions. The unfortunate part of this is that some good questions or advice go unasked to avoid that group. Maybe if on the first clear attempts to disrupt participation in TOTV results in that person being denied access. It would be greater to have less participation in the posts and more positive participants than more bully participants and less meaningful interchanges of ideas and questions. We have used TOTV for many years and this has
been getting worse as times go on and the bullies grow as a larger group of the total. Since there are no controls for this group and no consequences their interference and behavior will continue to grow out of proportion to the total positive users.

Great post. I would add that the GRADUAL movement away from politeness and toward aggressive "putdowns" - is likely, the tip of a national iceberg that has been pushing the limits of peaceful togetherness. Everyone IS becoming "the other" to someone or some group. Why IS this happening? And will it keep happening into the future? Congress is currently asking those questions of Facebook and Instagram. I have my opinion, but having expressed opinions in the past, they have often been greeted by derision, so I will pass this time and wait for any s*** to hit the fan.
