After 35 yrs I think it would be very difficult to up root and live elsewhere. However, I have a very good friend who moved back to her home state and has adjusted very well. She says it is basically a reverse move, she considers three months of winter far out weighs five months of never ending extreme heat in Florida.

She explained that being retired she does not have to go out in the weather, in this day and age almost all the stores are doing Instacart and the other deliveries. She is also a person who loves to be outside and she tells me she can be outside doing whatever she wants to do. She does have another incentive, she lives very close to her family.

I'm originally from up north. I retired early, and now my brain is going to mush. Plus, in this humidity it is tough for me to get enough air into my lungs and the heat here is terrible. Before moving up to TV we lived near the Gulf and it wasn't as hot there, as it is up here.
