NOTHING but Happy Birthday to Karen Allen this October 5, 2021. I saw
Raiders of the Lost Ark in a domed theater on South Virginia Street in Reno, Nevada with a fellow University of Nevada, Reno Philosophy Student. He had tried to pick up the wrong woman and her jealous husband had tried to kill my friend with a knife. But that did not phase him when Indiana Jones faced down the man with the sword. He thought that scene was hilarious even after still recovering from that attack .
Encountered my UNR Philosophy friend's now ex-wife in a Facebook group when I had been exchanging stories up Reno in the 1960s and 1970s.
I saw the third Indiana Jones movie while skipping some of the 1989 Law Librarian convention in Reno, Nevada at that same domed theater on South Virginia Street.
