Default Untrained and poor treatment at your local bank
The question is.....if you scratch out 3 letters and then write the name of the recipient of the check on your personal check.....is that check still valid?

Went into Chase Bank where we were told that the check was void since we scratched out on it.....it was in the name of the account holder and wanting to cash her own check. The teller went to the manager and was told that the check was void....Thoughts? We are now saying good bye to Chase Bank. Your thoughts?
