Let's not forget our country was not founded on socialist liberal principles to which ptownrob is speaking of, it was founded on conservative christian principles.

That's why we have become in such a very short time the most prosperous and generous nation in the world. Not over thousands of years but just a few hundred years.

The farther left we go the more trouble we get ourselves into. The pattern over the last 50 years is very clear. I said in another post we used to have leave to to beaver and new we have sex in the city. Does anyone really believe that's good for our society? I guess they do.

More socialism, higher taxes, unprecedented amounts of debt, punish achievement and reward failure, government takeovers, nationalization of just about everything they can get their hands on and immorality is now the norm. Do you really believe this is all good for us or do you just hate George Bush and Rush Limbaugh so much that you really don't care anymore?

It is beyond my comprehension how anyone can look at what Obama and the congress is doing to our nation and say bring it on brother we want more.

We don't need more moderates, we need a hard swing back to conservatism and our roots.
