I was under the impression that the fertilizing companies spread fertilizer February, April, June, August, October, and December and sprayed for insects and weeds January, March, May, July, September, and November. I use Massey and while I don't have may paperwork handy this does come to mind. Also when talking about lawns I believe that it needs to be stated whether it is St. Augustine or Zoysia as maybe that does make a difference.
