Easements for utilities is another issue. You can have an easement ON your property or through your property. The issue in this case is whether or not you have any authority to or requirement for maintenance on your front area near the road. I don't know about your neighborhood, but in mine we have sprinkler heads right at the edge of the street.
Agree! Glad to see someone recognizes plotted surveyed lot lines as determing ownership. So many trolls commenting here... hardly worth the bother.
