Default a tee shirt looks like a tee shirt...

Can someone please explain how a mock turtle-neck shirt with a one quarter inch collar is different from a T-shirt? I think that all of my T-shirts would meet their definition for a mock turtle-neck.
but if you get one with a pocket many courses don't say a thing...just no funky printing on it. Also the practice areas no longer require much of a dress code. tee shirts are fine, swim trunks are fine. been that way for years now.
