If you can find, a kit with the same colors in say a quart size, I would go with DIY. You investment will be low and if it fails, then you call in the pros ($$$). I would check with youtube etc., for hints on doing this. You could also call a couple of the more commonly mentioned firms doing this work to see they do repair work.
