I bought a Highlander in 2015...absolutely love it. My wife bought a Honda CRV in 2017, and it fits her well. She is only 5' tall and the side mirrors on
the Highlander are dangerously high for her. She could lose a UPS truck in the blind spot they create for her. For me, being fairly tall, not a problem.
The Highlander has been a stalwart. The CRV (turbo model), not so much. Lots of issues, and Honda is notorious for ignoring their screw-ups. I'll never buy another Honda. Lease, maybe, buy, never.
Having said all of that, I wouldn't buy anything right now. Supply is dreadful, likely to worsen before it improves. If at all possible, unless money is no object, I'd keep the old buggy and wait for things to normalize on the supply chain before I bought anything.
Good Luck!
