The only real trick to installing a bicycle speedometer on the cart is attaching the pickup and magnet. I bent a heavy duty paper clip and attached it to the inside of a lug nut in order to form the "spoke" to which the magnet clamps. Then I used nylon cinch ties to hold the pickup unit in the right position and ran the wires up to the dash.

You can measure the circumference of your golf cart tire with a tape measure in order to program the speedometer for your specific cart. Most instruction kits don't expect such a small wheel but mine seemed to program OK.
