Has it's benefits and deficits. I deal with the deficits and keep my head in reality aka outside the bubble.
We can't wait to live with our heads in the sand! Here we come Bubble, in 4 years. Have had a lifetime of upsetting news that concerns things for which we have no control. We get our daily metro Atlanta newspaper in the driveway, watch local and national news, and read some of it on the Internet. On occasion, a positive story is presented or information is provided that benefits us personally, but the overwhelming majority of news only provides us with a conversation piece. Conversation that does not lift the person with whom we share. In four years our news will become what the Villages wants us to hear. How a couple has celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, how so-in-so won the pickleball tournament, etc. BRING IT ON! We have spent far too many hours of our valuable life focused on things for which we have absolutely no control and I ask myself, "why?" We look forward to enjoying life in the Villages that we worked so hard to have while letting others worry about the state of the country and world.
