On occasion, a positive story is presented or information is provided that benefits us personally, but the overwhelming majority of news only provides us with a conversation piece. Conversation that does not lift the person with whom we share. In four years our news will become what the Villages wants us to hear. How a couple has celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary, how so-in-so won the pickleball tournament, etc. BRING IT ON! We have spent far too many hours of our valuable life focused on things for which we have absolutely no control and I ask myself, "why?" We look forward to enjoying life in the Villages that we worked so hard to have while letting others worry about the state of the country and world.
The idea of an all good news news source has been tried, and failed many times. We are drawn to bad news. We are reading this thread. THERE WAS A MURDER-when we read it it was in Australia and it was three years ago.
