The panel an outlet are both in the garage so it should be ok to use conduit along the block wall. That will cut down on the cost of the cable and time.

I'll find out more after I talk to Pike's.

I will be interested in the use of conduit, I have only seen this is a very few locations all outside. I am actually thinking of using conduit for a branch circuit to the bath room.
