When I was in the fox hole , I never thought oh lord if I get thru this nightmare and they remove the shrapnel I'd love to pick up dog excrement in a clear plastic bag off my neighbors lawn (even tho we have a ton of dog parks for this event or better yet the dog lovers own lawn) then carry it though the neighbor hood like a bag of truffles on award night.
Speaking of truffles in bags. Happy Halloween (or fall festival) if you're opposed to Halloween for some reason)

1st I have been a dog lover my entire life, BUT in retirement I have no intention of being a slave to a dog. Limiting what I can do, where I can go, and how long I can stay is not part of my retirement plans. I totally understand your point of view. Be prepared for the name callers and haters because your opinion is different than theirs. I'm happy for you if you enjoy dog responsibilities and costs. NOW TO THOSE DOG OWNERS PICK UP AFTER YOUR PET AND DISPOSE OF IT IN THE PROPER WAY IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY
