Publix sells a variety of "pick up and go" salads that are pretty good. I like the one with grilled chicken over field greens and romaine with sliced strawberries, blue cheese, and I believe they also add candied pecans. Served with a blue cheese vinaigrette.

You can also do what I usually do every week: get a pre-washed package of salad greens of your choice, a package or small tub of shredded or crumbled cheese, and a couple other veggies that you enjoy. I like cherry tomatoes and sunflower seeds.

Grab a handful of salad, toss in a couple spoonsful of cheese, dump a few veggies and seeds on top of the bowl and squirt your favorite dressing on top. I often make my own tahini, and add calamata olives and use feta for my cheese of choice.

The cost to make your own salad is infinitely lower than the cost of buying it. And you don't have to go anywhere to make it, it's all sitting right in your fridge.
