Cutting the cord is the way to go. The only downside that it can cost almost more when/if you start getting too many different "bundles" ie Hulu, Prime, YouTubeTV, etc. If you can get the old rabbit ears to work for you, it can at least allow you to catch some local TV (if you want). We have Spectrum for internet and simply stream everything else on SmartTV and Firestick.
