For those who feel threatened by the bullies in the Politics thread or elsewhere, fear no more. If you feel there are nasty people out there making critical comments about you or possibly even ganging up on you, there's someone looking out for you.
HR 1966 has been introduced by Rep Linda Sanchez (D, CA.) to provide the oversight and protection we all want and need so much. She has proposed that the following be added to Chapter 41 of Title 18 of the US Code:
"Whoever transmits in interstate or foreign commerce any communication, with the intent to coerce, intimidate, harass, or cause substantial emotional distress to a person, using electronic means to support severe, repeated, and hostile behavior, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than two years, or both."
