I do my best not to give true answers. SPOKEO had me listed as 150 years old with more money that Buffet and Gates combined. My aunt must have looked it up and corrected some of the information as she is now the only one listed who knows me. She is in assisted living. My birthday? She has it wrong.
All companies CLAIM they do not sell your information. Amusing project, change the spelling of your name, perhaps your middle initial and you will see who is selling your name.

Nobody spells my name correctly. Adding or subtracting letters at will. I would never know. Is it Fredrick, Frederick, Frederic, Fredric, Fredrik, etc.
