Let's be realistic about this. If Rittenhouse was a young black man that was out there removing graffiti from businesses, putting out fires and offering first aid he would be lauded as a hero, receive a ticker tap parade and a statue of him erected. And I would have no problem with that. That is just the way this country is acting today. But, statues are being torn down and new ones of fallen criminals are raised.
The only thing Rittenhouse did wrong was try to do the good Samaritan thing by himself, without a backup. I have no problem with his taking upon himself to do what the authorities refused/couldn't do themselves....clean up after the scumbags that destroy property and injure others.
Rittenhouse should be acquitted on ALL charges. But, will it happen? Only if there are honorable folks still available for jury duty.
