Many people live in one and work in the other. Rittenhouse was a lifeguard who worked in Kenosha. His father lived there. It was 15 minutes from his home.
Here in the DC area, millions of people "cross state lines" to work every single day. I live in MD, but work in DC...

But sure, let's start up with the arguments that got the other thread locked down...

You're right, the across state line thing doesn't mean anything. He wasn't licensed to carry an assault rifle in Wisconsin. And the crux of the matter is that he murdered two people, one unarmed, with the assault rifle he shouldn't have been in possession of.
As far as Snopes, someone needs to brush up on their reading skills. Snopes says there is plenty of proof. They show the two pictures, and it clearly looks like Rittenhouse. He is wearing a very unique pair of American flag clogs in both pictures. Snopes says it is
most likely Rittenhouse but because it is based on visuals, it can't be confirmed 100%. So it appears he wasn't the little choir boy the defense would like everyone to believe. He very likely attacked this woman; he made remarks about how he wished he had his gun in case a couple of guys leaving a store had shoplifted - he said he'd kill them. He goes to a riot with an assault rifle...and afterwards poses for selfies with Proud Boys (a terrorist organization") with a tee shirt that says "Free as F**K as though he is a celebrity. The only remorse we've seen is the crocodile tears at the trial. Hmm...
