Actually, if you think about it ... without even checking the sender's email address ...
How does UPS, USPS, Fedex, etc even have your email address associated with your physical address? If a real physical delivery was attempted, they leave a piece of paper because they don't know your email address in the first place. They also don't typically have your phone number so that's also why they don't call you - only scammers do.
