80% of the "stack wall" builders are doing what I call terrible installs and will need significant attention within 3 years (sometimes sooner).
Some of the worst offenders are the seemingly biggest and best, and most expensive .. with huge advertising budgets.
Ask to see some extensive wall work over 5 years old. And VERIFY it was done by that contractor. I have ex employees I fired for doing shoddy work ( that I went back and fixed) That are out there posting pictures of work I designed and built like they are capable of replicating these jobs because they worked on a crew for a couple years.
Good designs can happen now and then with the "fly by nighters" and the big companies chasing the big money , but good engineering will never.
