The moderators are the owners of this for-profit organization and as such are free to censor individual posts and/or shut down whole threads based perhaps to a degree of their personal opinions but primarily on the bottom line. They own it; they can run it as they wish. As with any other business, follow the money.

In the somewhat distant past, with a previous group of owners of TOTV, this level of censorship, or as they called it, “banning,” led to the departure of a large number of participants who had contributed significantly to the quality and well-being of the community. Change in ownership of TOTV notwithstanding, most of these folks never came back. It’s a shame, because they added so much to life in TV. Just remember that TOTV is not a public service.

I remember that period, many that left were consistent political posters.
