I am 99.7% German. I was born in a small town in Missouri called Hermann. My parents did not speak English until they started school. I don’t speak German at all. I understand the world war 1 made the town afraid of speaking German. We had several festivals each year my father danced in. My parents were proud of both being German so I was afraid of doing the DNA test, but the results proved almost correct.
