I understand, but older people become more sensitive to sounds, at least I did. High pitch children’s voices used to give me joy as a kindergarten teacher. Now it goes through my head like a knife and seems to cause migraine like reaction. I still like the children, just the quiet ones more.
And we are at our absolute tolerance level with the constant lawn mowers and other gas equipment on a daily level. Even a small straw will break an overloaded camel’s back.
They can walk the bike to the main corner and start it up there if they were considerate. My hubby does and our rider friends too when visiting especially early or coming in late. We LIKE our neighbors.
