Thought of building one for myself
I decided to purchase a 2 seater cart. Four seaters take up more garage space, and I don't expect my guests like facing rearward while travelling - hard to converse.
On the occasions that I have visitors, I would rent another cart, or get this trailer - very cool. I wouldn't have to mess with my clubs they would stay in my 2 seater cart.
Knowing that the brakes or suspension are not designed for max speed trailer tow, I would reduce my pace when prudent. Obviously we all should know that braking is to be done in a straight line before turning, whether towing or not (Driving 101). Made it all the way from Michigan towing ~ 4500 lb. single axle trailer w/o trailer brakes. I think that I don't tailgate, let off the accel pedal (can't call it gas pedal for many cars, trucks, and carts anymore....), and brake lightly and early seems to do the trick.
However, I observe about 50% of the drivers on the road don't really know how to drive, and would be even more of a disaster if they tried to tow. Of course there are a lot of villagers that are terrible golf cart drivers, and would create crashes and injuries if they towed (especially people), but I think the percentage of bad village Golf cart drivers is less than the general population (maybe 20 - 25% shouldn't be driving)
