Not everyone needs to try something to see potential disadvantages or dangers. There are many in TV with backgrounds in engineering, science, safety, etc. Some of those may have already spoken, yea or nay. Personally, I see a few potential opportunities for accidents or injury. I would not feel it a good option at this time.
That being said, by all means, if you want one, buy it. Just remember that salespeople won't tell you the negatives. Their job is to make you want it or need it, and negatives can kill a sale.
To me, it is cute. Reminiscent of rickshaws and jeepneys. Picturesque third world transport in a first world community.
