Unemployment
claims are at a 52 year low - not unemployment. In October, 2021, the unemployment rate was 4.6 percent. That is not a 52 year low. The number of unemployed persons was 7.4 million. In February, 2020, the unemployment rate was 3.5 percent and 5.7 million were unemployed.
