I'm pretty sure the OP doesn't live here nor does he want to live here. He's just listing reasons not to move here from Long Island, NY. Probably he's never even been here. I think his "knowledge" has been formed from reading complaints about this or that on TOTV.

Take the climate. We find the climate here to be preferable to that of south Texas, where it is extremely hot and humid in the summer and can be extremely cold and damp in the winter. Notice to OP: Some people like hot weather.
