My solution is to develop a drone patrol -- each with "camera eyes" and multiple sensors for sensing drugs, ammunition, etc. as well as face technology. Drone Patrols with such technology could patrol airports, stadiums, theaters, schools and universities, malls, government utility stations (water, electricity, etc.). When suspicious activity is sensed, the drone(s) hover over the suspect. Video the activity, and instantaneously notify the authorities with the sensed activity, video, and the location of the suspected wrong-doing.

Educating the crazies to such a technology, as described above, may even deter them from attempting such a horrific mission in the first place.

Good Point but having a drone hover over one person that looks suspicious, what about the other hundreds or maybe a couple thousand other people. Also having a drone flying around in a building won’t happen. What ever happened to metal detectors at entrances. I’m sure a drug sensing drone has probably already been thought or to expensive. Everything you said sounds a little expensive & I’m sure they been thought of. Criminals aren’t so dumb that they can’t beat the system, that’s why this kind of a thing is still going on. You might as well go back to letting teachers carry firearms, that idea didn’t go over real good either.
