Just as an FYI.. The new houses no longer use a traditional GFCI that you reset on the outlet. All the resets are now on the breakers themselves. No more hunting around to see what GFCI you tripped. It's easily found in the breaker box.
I know this doesn't pertain to the OP since his house was built in 2014. But for anyone moving into a new house it might be helpful.
