Yes, but both Allstate and State Farm offer up to $1 million in liability coverage as part of their regular auto policy options. Surprisingly, Progressive with The Villages Insurance would only allow up to $250K liability for auto insurance and $500K for their homeowners policy. I think you need more liability coverage for your auto policy than for your homeowners.
