I called State Farm, and they can provide the exact same coverage for $311. I called Allstate, and they just told me to switch to State Farm. Apparently, insurance companies don't care anything about keeping customers. I tried other companies, but most of them will not provide the high liability coverage amount that I want, and they don't have a local office. Most of my premium cost is for liability. An umbrella policy is an option, but it is not cost effective. Has anyone had a similar experience?
IMo Allstate most expensive insurance you can buy, plus they want to monitor you’re driving habits for the so called discounts, which IMO will turn into increases or cancellations if you don’t meet there standards and average mileage requirements. Any insurance company can beat there prices. So, some say you get what you pay for but IMO you can do better. In you’re case you want extreme liability requirements which says you’ll pay lot more. I am surprised it only went up 600 dollars.

Be glad you don’t live in NM where less than 1/2 pays for people who don’t get insurance. Extremely high there when I lived in that state regardless of loyalty and no accidents.
