If hammered on by impact gun they can be very hard to get off by hand. That’s why I remove tire and take it to them so I can install wheel and torque lugs nuts to 35 foot pounds. The impact gun will torque them to at least 90 plus foot pounds which if you don’t have impact gun you just spin the wheel trying to break them loose. I found that 35 foot pounds for me just tight enough and not too tight where you can remove them. And no, none of lugs nuts have ever loosen torque to 35 foot pounds cause I checked them.
