Trying to staff something that size might prove to be quite a challenge... seems even a coffee shop or restaurant can't find enough employees these days to keep any DEFINITE schedule of days and times open ! ? Speaking of, perhaps I've been under a rock.... LOL... too long, but just discovered a WONDERFUL coffee shop in the Spanish Plains shopping Plaza (the end near the hospital side). I had give up all hope of having a real espresso coffee shop in the V's long ago, but this independent place (Think it is called The Standard) has espresso drinks that compare to the wonderful independent cafes in the Italian neighborhood of my adult children's major city. I sure hope they can manage to make it as an independent in this time of virus and employee challenges. And the prices ? A bit LESS than the watery, pale, tasteless espresso shots at the chains.
