Yes - a good agent is crucial. Then, scope out possible lots (ie 24v18 on mincey loop), look at them to see if they will fit the house you want - pool? bigger birdcage?
Pick 3 in order of preference and let your agent do the work. Be available to your agent - lots become available on very short notice.
We got a wonderful lot because we were in the right place at the right time due to our agent. We put a hold on it a minute after release. Within an hour there were 4 back up offers. Our lot was slightly unique in shape so we were limited in the design - we needed wide rather than deep, but it all worked perfectly for us.
Good luck! Meggison is the area to be now - Sawgrass opening is imminent and once the new bridge opens we will have the newest town square! Play the long game!
Design happens 2 months after lot selection. Build starts 6 weeks after end of design. 4 months to complete once started.
