People can only own TWO pets. Two dogs is not a pack. So if they have more than TWO dogs they are in violation. Also, even on your own property a dog must be on a leash another violation.

Too many dog owners lose track that it is a dog. A dog is a pack animal the reason why IF your neighbor has several they will bark growl together. One is the leader and that will be obvious. Also, by instinct a dog will not welcome another dog or even people on to it's property

The question in the OP. Am I wrong? Then name calling a holes. Then Merry Christmas to ME. Does not sound like you are completely innocent.

Sadly, when things start bad it is difficult to turn things around-BUT IT CAN BE DONE.
Perhaps, there is someone that would help both of you? Perhaps, the villages?
The hardest part is rejecting the thought, I'm gonna get even-I'm gonna teach them a lesson. That is the hardest part, for BOTH SIDES of every issue.
Yes. Two sides:
she came out to her open garage with her 3 dogs and once they saw us across the street entering my garage they took off barking & growling. Then yelled at me for reacting to protect my dog, to relax and I think she said for me to move.

MY Side: I was walking to enter my garage, suddenly heard & saw the dogs running for us, yes, on my property & and reacted by picking up my medium size dog so they couldn't get to her. She's a docile dog. I remained quiet to calm me & my pup.

No apology, its all my fault because I wasn't ok with it all, second time this has happened. But I'm the issue in her eyes. 🙄. She doesn't know me or my issues, how dare she dictate how I should be behave in an situation that shouldn't be happening in the first place.

Sadly this appears to be a TV issue happening too much, these owners are behaving irresponsible. What if that happened to an aggressive dog? The larger dog would be blamed for injuries..
