I can assure you it has nothing to do with being a renter, especially if your place is kept up , Ive had 6 homes here and barely knew my neighbors, there are others like me who like to socialize outside there neighborhoods , that’s possibly how the people you may be meeting feel .The last thing I ever want is a neighbor who feel they can just knock on my door to ask me how it’s going and how about a cup of coffee , yuck !!Go Patriots

And I am the opposite… I always enjoy a neighbor stopping over for coffee or a beer!
