Additionally, renters spend money to support local businesses, some that might not exist without the additional revenue. Therefore, rental restrictions aren’t happening. Personally, I don’t have a problem with long term rentals to 55+ tenants. It’s the short term AIRBNB type rentals and rentals to younger people that tend to not be in harmony with the existing neighborhoods.
One thing I can get behind 100% (which won't happen, but this is a "I wish" thread so it's a wish, not a request):

New Rules:

Rentals are allowed. No homeowner may rent more than one unit at any given time (that reduces multi-unit landlord investment schemes). A homeowner may allow family to reside in a separate unit owned by them, with the following restriction: At least 1 resident in that unit must be 55 years old or older. ALL OTHER residents in that unit must be 30 years old or older. No one under 30 is permitted to reside in any rental unit at any time, for any reason. No exceptions will be made.

Visitors in a rental unit may be under 30 but they may stay no longer than 1 week in any 12-month rotating period. So they can't stay the last week of December and the first week of January. Any visitor under age 30 found using ANY amenities without the resident's presence at that amenity will result in the tenant losing their right to have guests at all.
