Gemorc,
On you recommendation, I drove out there one rainy afternoon last week. Pretty long drive, but I do go to Ocala for fast food chicken, and I used to drive from DC to Charlottesville, VA for a Bojangles ham biscuit. so . . . I got a pound of pork ribs and 1/2 lb of sliced beef. The ribs were very good and worth the trip. I was a bit disappointed in the beef. I'd have preferred brisket and they use a bottom round roast or something similar. It was okay, but not brisket.
I'll go back, likely soon. I was to try the baby backs. A couple sides looked real good. And the prices were, I thought, very reasonable.
Selling ribs by the pound???

Yeah, raw in the supermarket or at the butcher, but not in restaurants. Is that a regional thing? I'm used to ordering a slab, short end, or long end. Other areas call it a rack and don't speak slab. What's with ribs by the pound?
