I looked at this, but the added cost is way out of line. And an in-ground cleaning system only swirls the water - it does not brush the bottom or the sides of the pool. If you do have an algae bloom, it's far worse since the algea tends to gain hold on the finish of the pool. This is why every pool manufacturer recommends brushing the sides and bottom of the pool weekly. A robot does all of this for less than $1K. Just set it in the pool every week or so, push a button and your pool is cleaned and brushed about 3 hours later.
